Is your company developing a cybersecurity research or experimental development project? The Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE) currently has a non-repayable grant scheme specifically designed to finance these types of projects, as part of the Red Argos programme.

Who can apply?

  • SMEs with a registered office or workplace in Castilla y León.
  • Large companies with a registered office or workplace in the region, provided that the project is carried out in collaboration with an SME.

What is it for?
It finances strategic applied research and experimental development projects that generate new practical cybersecurity solutions, within Priority 3 of the RIS3 of Castilla y León ("Smart Manufacturing and Cybersecurity"). The project must be fully defined and technically, economically and financially viable, although it may be expanded in the future. Only one ongoing project per company is eligible.

How much does it cover?
A non-repayable grant, calculated as a percentage of the eligible project costs. To be eligible, the project must achieve a minimum score of 40 points according to the assessment criteria set out in the call.

Deadline: applications are open until 31 August 2026, and the project must also be completed by that date. The entire application process is carried out fully online.
