Burgos Industry 4.0 Technology Meeting

On 16 November, the Burgos Industry 4.0 Technology Meeting took place, where DIGIS3 took part by presenting its initiative for intelligent, sustainable and cohesive digitalisation. This event, which was held in a hybrid format of exhibition and technical conferences, has evidenced the Spanish industrial potential.

DIGIS3 had an information point which provided information on the project and its goal of supporting the region of Castilla y León.

The initiative was promoted by our partner, Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 (DIHBU) and Burgos City Council, in an innovative format, offering both the Industry 4.0 Solutions Exhibition, which showcased innovative solutions tested or implemented in a company or industry over the last year, and a technical part with the Industrial Track 4.0 2021 Conference.

The event held on 16 November at the Fórum Evolución in Burgos, which showcased Spain's industrial potential and highlighted the high level of industry in Burgos, was a great overall success. According to Belén Lanuza, Managing Director of DIHBU, "Burgos industry demanded this meeting, a pioneering event due to its hybrid format of exhibition and technical conferences, which has shown that industry in Burgos is at a high level".

The event was attended by almost a thousand participants, more than 700 visitors and 190 exhibitors from 39 technology companies. The demonstrating companies showcased their technology, presenting innovative and disruptive solutions based on IoT, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, VR/AR and Cyber-Physical and Industrial Management Systems.
