The member entities of the European Digital Innovation Hub DIGIS3 (AIR Institute, SCAYLE, University of León, ICE, DIHBU and DIH-LEAF) held a meeting recently at the premises of the ULE to evaluate the progress of the project and propose new activities to be developed over the next 18 months for the benefit of the business network of Castilla y León.
The session, held at the SCAYLE premises in the CRAI-TIC Building, was attended by representatives of all the entities involved in DIGIS3: Marta Crespo, Javier Galindo and Carla Gonzales (AIR Institute); Álvaro Fanego (SCAYLE); Ariadna Cases, Manuel Domínguez, Nuria G. Rabanal and Tatiana García (ULE); Montserrat Fernández and Elena Martín (ICE); Belén Lanuza (DIHBU) and Rodrigo González (DIH-LEAF).
During the meeting several crucial aspects of the DIGIS3 project were discussed, including the analysis of the target indicators achieved by each partner during the first year, with proposals for adjustments corresponding to each planned area of work. Highlights of the agenda included an evaluation per member and area of work, possible modifications, analysis and discussion on adjustments to the price list based on the KPIs, as well as the future steps to be undertaken by all the entities involved.
In addition, the meeting included a visit to two of the laboratories of the SUPPRESS Research Group of the ULE in the School of Industrial, Computer and Aerospace Engineering and in the Cybernetics Research Module and a visit to the SCAYLE.
The fundamental pillars on which the actions of DIGIS3 are articulated are sustainability under environmental, economic and social criteria, talent to favour the transition towards digitalisation, communication as the backbone that makes the offer of DIGIS3 reach all corners of the community, and cooperation with other national and European HUBs whose synergies enhance the capacities and skills for the objective of digital innovation.
