Enrol in the InSAR Satellite Technology Course Applied to the Civil Engineering Sector

News - DIGIS3

DIGIS3, in partnership with DIHBU and the Detektia startup, has developed a course on InSAR for civil engineering applications. Starting this Thursday, 20th February, the course provides practical training on the use of InSAR satellite technology, which is crucial for infrastructure monitoring. The training is free for SME or public organization employees based in Spain or any other EU country. It offers three months of expert-led instruction, ensuring participants gain up-to-date knowledge on InSar.

The main goal of the training is to provide participants with a profound understanding of the results provided by InSAR, enabling them to interpret and analyse data in a fully practical manner. Throughout the course, students will work with real InSAR data in practical case studies. If they are involved in projects in Europe, they will have the opportunity to carry out all exercises using data from their own projects. The course will explore InSAR technology in detail, covering the entire process from satellite data acquisition to deformation analysis. Aggregated metrics will be generated and examined across various structures and areas of interest, assisting in the assessment of the structural condition and integrity of buildings and infrastructure.

Do I Need Prior Knowledge?

No prior knowledge is required—just an interest in learning about this cutting-edge technology, which is set to play a key role in the future of infrastructure monitoring.

What is the Course Duration?

The course lasts approximately three months. Modules will be gradually opened, allowing for an in-depth exploration of the content. Students will have access to a schedule outlining module opening dates, submission deadlines, webinars, and other key milestones.

How Long Will I Have Access to the Course Content?

The training platform will remain open for a total of six months, allowing participants to retake tests, complete or refine their coursework. After the platform closes, all course materials will be provided for future reference.

What is the Course Format?

The course is delivered online via an interactive platform with a fully practical approach. It includes webinars for all modules, assessment tests, InSAR analysis tools, a chat for queries, assignment submissions via the training platform, and manual reviews conducted by an expert team.
