The Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE) and AIR Institute are organising, in collaboration with the Junta de Castilla y León, a seminar on "Technological training for startups and SMEs: Generative AI" on 30 November in person and on 1 December in online format.
The training is aimed at SMEs and startups, within the framework of the Centr@tec Programme. Startups and SMEs will learn how to harness generative artificial intelligence to transform their businesses. Researchers and experts in the field will provide attendees with information on innovations and improvements that can be incorporated into processes, products and/or services to optimise costs and improve the competitive position of the entity. Thus, during the training, AI is addressed from a business perspective, providing theoretical foundations, practical examples and use cases.
The event will take place at the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence Centre, AIR Institute's headquarters located in Salamanca (Av. Santiago Madrigal, 39, 37003) and will feature a wide range of experts in the field.
To open the event, Juan Manuel Corchado, President of AIR Institute and Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Salamanca, will present the Centr@tec Programme. Afterwards, José Francisco Diego, territorial delegate of the ICE in Salamanca, will present the funding lines of the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León. The technical presentations will look at AI and data analysis applied to business, the use of ChatGPT and Llama2 generative AI, as well as case studies for application creation. These and other topics will be addressed by researchers and experts in the field.
