ITCL Technology Centre, in collaboration with DIGIS3 and DIHBU, is organising the course ‘Digital Twin in Industry 4.0’, a 20-hour training course available in both onsite and online modes. The course is especially aimed at professionals involved in industrial processes (plant managers, operations, planning, engineering, maintenance, ICT support staff...) who wish to enhance their knowledge and use real-time simulation tools for decision-making.
Advances in task automation and the use of digital twins for decision-making represent the greatest technological potential in the industry. The course is designed to teach students how to implement these digital twins, which simulate the behaviour of real systems in order to make the right decisions.
Among the objectives of the course are the following:
- Design, program and parameterise advanced tools in digital twins.
- Create and manage digital twin systems in the Industry 4.0 environment.
- Apply the industrial internet of things (IIoT) to improve processes and simulation using digital twins.
- Develop communication networks between the industrial process and the digital twin system.
- Facilitate decision-making on processes, lines and plants by simulating different possible situations in a digital environment fed with data from the system in real time.
Dates, venue and fees
The course will be held on 28 and 30 May and 4, 5 and 6 June from 09: 00am to 1: 00pm, comprising a total of 20 hours. It will take place onsite at the ITCL facilities (C/ López Bravo, 70, Burgos), and those who wish to attend the course online will be able to do so through the virtual classroom.
