New course of our member SCAYLE to get started in the use of supercomputing applied to the analysis of RNAseq data

The University of León presents the seventh edition of its practical course on supercomputing applied to RNAseq data analysis. This course, limited to 20 places, is ideal for those who wish to deepen their knowledge of genomics and improve their analytical skills in gene expression data.

What does the course offer?

Over 36 hours, this course offers comprehensive training, covering both the theoretical and practical bases of RNA-Seq data analysis. In addition, those enrolled in this course will receive ECTS credit recognition from the University of León.

The course will be held from 8 to 12 July at the CRAI - TIC building of the Vegazana Campus of the University of León. The timetable will be from Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 15:30 to 18:30, and on Friday from 09:00 to 13:30.

The course is aimed at researchers interested in genomic studies, professionals in Computer Science, Biology and Biotechnology, especially those involved in genetic diagnosis; postgraduate students in technical, experimental and economic areas, as well as anyone interested in research, innovation and development in the field of genomics.

The registration fee for those interested is divided into two types:

  • General admission: €450
  • Unemployed and students of the University of León: 350€.
