The Supercomputing Centre of Castilla y León (SCAYLE), a member of DIGIS3, will hold an informative conference on "business digitalization through high-performance computing" at its headquarters in León (CRA-TIC Building, Campus de Vegazana s/n, University of León) on Tuesday 19 December from 09:00 to 11:00. The aim is to inform companies on how to carry out a smart, sustainable, and cohesive digital transformation, in both SMEs and public administration entities, facilitating their access to specialised technical knowledge and the implementation of pilot projects.
The event is aimed specifically at business people, entrepreneurs, engineers, executives, researchers, ICT managers and, in general, people interested in the subject. Firstly, Álvaro Fanego Lobo, project coordinator at SCAYLE, will tell attendees about DIGIS3 and how they can benefit from its services. Next, Israel Alonso Marne, head of the Acelera Pyme Office for Kit Digital of the León Chamber of Commerce, will present the supercomputing processes through the Digital Kit programme. Afterwards, Ruth Alonso Martínez, administrative and training manager of SCAYLE, will continue the conference with a presentation of the Castilla y León Supercomputing Centre and its forms of collaboration. Finally, there will be a visit to the new SCAYLE CPD centre and there will be time for networking over coffee.
Attendee registration will take place at 08:50 am. Attendance is free of charge thanks to co-funding from the European Union, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and the EOI Foundation of the Government of Spain, in the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism financed by Next Generation funds.
