DIGIS3 news: updates, initiatives, and technology opportunities

Last Monday, the Minister of Economy and Finance and President of the ICE – partner of the  DIGIS3 consortium-, Carlos Fernández Carriedo, presented the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Strategy (EEI 27), which will be the roadmap shared by the agents of the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem that will guide the actions of the Institute in these matters in the coming years.

The EDIH DIGIS3 - Intelligent, Sustainable and Cohesive Digitisation, has participated in "Cross-Border EDIH Collaboration", the first training session of a whole training itinerary that will allow the different members of the European network of Digital Innovation Centres to offer their services in the most efficient way possible.

The DIGIS3 consortium will receive funding of €1,065,361.45 to incorporate new companies and strengthen its visibility.

Representatives of the entities of the European consortium (ICE, AIR Institute, ULE, SCAYLE, DIHBU and DIHLEAF) held last week the kick-off meeting of the European project in Salamanca to finalise activities and services to support SMEs and public centres of Castilla y León.

Representatives of all the partners discussed the objectives to be achieved and the work packages to be developed.

The Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE), member of DIGIS3, recently participated in the final event of the Interreg CYBER project.

Following the working session held at the Faculty of Economics, the Vice-Rectors for Research and Institutional Relations are preparing an event aimed at companies and organisations in the province of León, to inform them of the consortium's support for digital transformation.

The project titled Deep lEarning for automatiC tExtile iNspecTion (DECENT) has started, with the collaboration of Investigación Asesoramiento y Desarrollo Textil (Inade), University of Burgos and the Digital Innovation Hub on Livestock, Environment, Agriculture & Forest (DIH-LEAF).
